Who We Are

London Christian Fellowship is an active, diverse, young, caring, Christ-centered church located in London, Ohio. The church is located at the intersection (north-east corner) of US Route 40 and State Rote 42, one mile south of I-70. (map)

We invite you to come worship with us!  Our worship service begins at 10:00

a.m. Child care for children ages two and under is provided in the nursery. Sunday School classes are available for children  age 2 through 8th grade.

Our Beginnings

Shalom Community Church began in the spring of 1984 as an outreach to the London Community. Services were held at the 42 Little College Day Care until 1988 when we began meeting at our current facilities. In 2004 our name was changed from Shalom Community Church to London Christian Fellowship, to better reflect who we are.Currently we average around 95 people in attendance each Sunday.

Our Mission

London Christian Fellowship is anything but a Sunday morning only church. People at the church are involved in a wide range of activities aimed at promoting personal and corporate growth, service to the community, and proclaiming the message of Jesus to today's culture.

Some changes will be taking place soon...

The Mast Family Reaches out to Thailand

Tom Mast, former associate pastor of London Christian Fellowship, his wife Candice, and their daughters, Claire and Eliza left for Thailand on August 23, 2006 for a 3 year assignment with Rosedale Mennonite Missions. While we miss their presence with us here at London Christian Fellowship, we are also excited about being a part of reaching the people in Thailand for Jesus Christ.  We hope to see many of our people being launched into ministry whether it is around the corner or across the world! You can keep read more about the Masts and see pictures by visiting their blog http://masts.rosedalemennonitemissions.org.

With the Bible as our guide, we seek to develop authentic and passionate followers of Christ through:

· WORSHIP – Glorifying God with our lives

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. Psalm 29:2

· FELLOWSHIP Sharing life together

So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Romans 12:5

· DISCIPLESHIP Studying and applying God’s Word to our lives

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:15-16

· SERVICE Meeting the needs of others

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. I Peter 4:10

· EVANGELISM –Sharing Christ with others

I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Philemon 1:6

We want everything we do to be based on the words of Jesus:

…'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:

'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Matthew 22:37-39

May all that we think, say and do, flow out of our

Passion for God…Compassion for people!
