The Youth Group (8th grade and up) will be meeting at Bob & Bettyjo Zachrich’s from 5:30-8:30 this evening.
Attention men: ♦ Are you ready for white water rafting? We’re planning a white water rafting trip for Sept. 26 - 28. It will be a time for fellowship and outreach to our friends. We would like to know if this date is good for everyone who wants to go. If not we will try to find a different date. All men and boys interested, please meet in the back of the sanctuary after church today for more details. Contact Kevin Duncan with any questions.
♦ It’s time for LCF’s Fantasy Football 2008—To sign up, go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com. The draft date is tentatively set for Sunday, August 17. Bring a packed lunch and we’ll try to get started with the draft around 12:30. If this doesn't work for too many we may have to change it. Contact Richard Troyer if you need the league number and password or if you have any questions. Attention ladies: ♦ Join us for a shopping trip to the Jeffersonville Outlet Malls on Saturday, September 6. Meet at Kara Thoman’s at 10:30 a.m. to carpool together.
♦ The annual Women Anew conference (www.womenanew.org) will be held October 24-26 at the Lodge at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio (along Lake Erie). If you would like more information or are interested in attending with a group of ladies from LCF contact Doris Swartz.
Fall Quarter Sunday School will start the end of August & Molly has sign up sheets in the back for teachers for both Fall & Winter Quarter classes.
Bethel Camp will be having their annual fund raising auction at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16. It will be held at True Value Lawn and Garden Center along Hwy. 15 in Jackson, KY.
